Responsibilities
* Maintain, update, and track all Special Pricing Requests to insure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the requests.
* Provide and log all Special Pricing Requests for customer credit request verification.
* Validate and process all Sales Discount/Rebate claims for credits/payments.
* Maintain and update Sales Discounts/Rebate worksheet for monthly close purposes.
* Interface with Sales dept to resolve claim discrepancies and to insure accrual adequacy.
* Assist with monthly/quarterly Sales Discount/Rebate provision forecast.
* Prepare and upload monthly close journal entries.
* Prepare month end account reconciliations and analysis.
* Participate in the quarterly/annual audits.
* Assists with special projects as required.
Requirements
* Experience with POS (Point Of Sales) processes.
* Familiarity with multi level Sales Channel and multi tier discount structure.
* Experience with Sales/Financial reporting and analysis.
* Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Excel.
* Oracle Financial and Salesforce.com system knowledge preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Detail oriented.
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience
* BA/BS degree or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Sales Discount/Rebate processing or Accounting areas.
