Job Description
Fast paced, start up internet company backed by one of the nations leading media companies is in need of a Accounts Payable Accountant with five to ten years experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Great Plains accounting software preferred but not
required.
Responsibility:

1) Analyze and processes Accounts Payable- Publisher Payments via checks and
PayPal2) Maintain Publisher Vendors in Great Plains system
3) Update all tax information in Great Plains to be able to process 1099 for
Publishers.4) Prepare weekly check runs and PayPal payments
5) Prepare monthly balance account reconciliations
6) Participate in month-end close processes
7) Work cross-functionally with many groups including Billing & Payment, Account Management, and
FP&A8) Prepare/update desktop procedures
9) Ad hoc projects
10) Back up for other accounting team members

Qualifications:

1) Must have strong communication- excellent verbal and written communication
skills;2) Must have strong analytical and multitasking skills;
3) Be organized and attentive to detail;
4) Excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
5) Able to handle high volume of transactions, multi-task, in a quick paced
organization6) Knowledge of AP policies, processes, and procedures
7) Ability to maintain effective working relationships and work effectively as a team
member.8) Must have "Can do" attitude
9) Bachelors degree in Accounting
