Responsibilities:
•Drive efficiencies and provide exceptional business partnership for the product management organizations across all things financial; including budgets/forecasts, resource allocation and optimization, channel profitability, etc.
•Provide financial modeling, critical thinking, and business partnership across all new initiatives in the division.
•Analyze division-level results and provide analysis, insights, recommendations and commentary to senior executives.
•Support ad-hoc projects, modeling, and partnership across FMS (Financial Management Solutions) as well as Intuit.
•Develop and further enhance investment decision models and reporting / forecasting mechanism around initiatives.
•Driving process automation and next gen data enhancement, facilitating business wide self service focus.
•Ability to navigate through revenue recognition issues to help product marketing team price and deliver new offerings/initiatives into the marketplace.
Qualifications: Candidates should have seven or more years of relevant professional experience. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical skills, the ability to translate data and analysis into practical, actionable recommendations, and a track record of working effectively with senior level business leaders.
•BS degree required, MBA strongly preferred.
•Minimum 7 years of finance/investment banking/mgmt consulting experience in positions with increasing challenge and responsibility … SaaS finance experience and/or SOP 97-2 a plus.
•Proven ability to influence business priorities within finance and other senior level business leaders through commitments achieved and results delivered.
•Ability to think strategically, but execute with attention to detail.
•Exceptional track record of self-motivation, natural curiosity, independent and analytical thinking, problem solving, continuous process improvement, and excellent organization and communication/presentation skills.
•Highly proficient in detailed financial modeling.
•Exceptional time-management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
•Must be a team player with ability to effectively interface with all types of people.
•Possess outstanding personal responsibility and integrity.
•Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications; experience with Hyperion EssBase, Business Objects, Access and/or Oracle a plus.
