Our Products business develops and manufactures molecular diagnostic products. Our Services business, Berkeley HeartLab, Inc. (BHL), is a high complexity CLIA certified laboratory that offers over 25 clinical diagnostic tests. And our 4myheart centers are staffed with medical professionals who use results from testing at BHL to work with patients, under their physician’s direction, to develop customized regimens for exercise, nutrition, stress management and therapy compliance. Supporting these businesses, our internal research and partnering activities fuel the development of new diagnostic tests for personalizing disease management in our products and/or services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support to business users in an accurate and timely manner on Business applications and IT systems.
• Work with end users, project management and system architects to define, specify and review system requirements.
• Correspond with system vendor on support issues.
• Respond to technical issues on Billing and other Lab systems.
• Thoroughly research technical issues and document solutions for user problems in a timely manner
• Keep management informed of outstanding issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with supporting off-the-shelf business apps.
• Experience / Exposure to Medical Billing processes and applications, is a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge experience with databases. Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Pl/SQL. Experience with Cache and MS SQL Server will be preferable.
• Experience in data warehousing and reporting.
• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces.
• Good knowledge of Java or other similar programming languages.
• HL7 experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
