Job Description:

You will be responsible for providing Manufacturing Engineering support in fabricating of the highest quality spacecraft flight and non-flight wire harness assemblies.
• Work with technician teams to achieve production goals and schedule
• Initiate process changes, updates & create Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs)
• Interface with supervision to prioritize resources
• Perform harness test operations using Dit-Mco circuit analyzer equipment
• Maintain performance metrics used to monitor continuous improvement initiatives
• Review and approve drawings & engineering design changes (ECOs)
• Track parts shortages and forecast floor stock item requirements
• Read wire lists and blue prints
• Create mock up fixtures of spacecraft panels to route & dress wire bundles
• Track calibrated equipment due dates and repair dates
• Excellent communication skills

Requires: BS in Engineering, and 2 years related experience as a manufacturing engineer with related electrical, mechanical, wire harness experience
