Staffing Coordinator




The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative




support to the recruitment function and Human Resources.



Duties and Responsibilities



• Responsibilities within key areas of Staffing include: Supports and maintains


the candidate experience, systems and record maintenance, direct hire process


(which includes active involvement with recruitment activities, includes;


requisition/applicant tracking system, job postings, background check and


drug/credit screening processes, employee referral program, create job offer


agreements, process new hire paperwork, prepare new hire packages, schedule and


maintain interview schedules and manage and coordinate candidate travel


arrangements).


• Assists in facilitating the hiring process by interacting with HR staff and


management,


recruiters, hiring managers, internal and external applicants/candidates and


other areas of HR as needed.


• May assist to provide backup of the college recruiting program and


employment/immigration activities.


• Tracks and inputs data for various HR functions such as applicant tracking and


requisition activity reporting


• Participates in supporting and instructing managers and employees on processes


that support business/HR initiatives and practices.


• May make recommendations to improve processes and implement new program and/or


procedures.


• Provide training support with additional Recruiters and/or Staffing


Coordinators.


Qualifications/Job Responsibilities


• Job Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a HR Coordinator or in a similar

role.


BA/BS Business or similar/equivalent experience preferred.

• Demonstrated administrative skills and ability to multi-task in a complex


business environment; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to


interface with internal HR staff, all employee levels within the organization


with an exceptional customer service focus.


• Must be self-motivated; highly detailed and organized; able to take initiative


to make or adapt to changes; works both independently and as a team member.


• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, plus


applicant tracking systems experience (Virtual Edge) desirable.
