Job Description
The HUD Compliance Specialist oversees all aspects of the property's subsidized untis. He/She will be responsible for ensuring the Section 8 units are compliant with all applicable regulatory agencies, including HUD, CAHI and Section 8. Must work well in teams and possess great conflict-resolution skills. The candidate will need to have excellent communication skills. This property is a mid-sized community located in Davis.

Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive knowledge of affordable housing experience focusing on HUD, Section 8 and CAHI




• Extensive knowledge of Fair Housing laws, ADA and 504 compliance related issues




• Pleasant and professional manner with calm disposition




• Proficient with compliance regulations




• Ability to perform in a face-paced environment

Key Qualifications

• Five years experience in residential property management and affordable housing




• HUD Certified




• Previous experience with AMSI, YARDI and other property management accounting software




• College Degree Preferred
