The position will be responsible for meeting and exceeding quarterly and yearly Clinical Education course recruitment goals, including new customer acquisition, and providing support tools and methods to recruit existing providers to segment-appropriate educational courses/programs. Creating a plan that includes identifying new and innovative opportunities to support the sales team in their recruitment efforts is critical in this role. Coordination with Marketing, Sales, and outside vendors is required to ensure we achieve high visibility, promote education, and drive demand. Assist in the development and implementation of short and long term marketing strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience managing professional channel marketing campaigns, including direct marketing, trade advertising, and lead generation follow-through.
- Must provide examples of proven methods to track and measure effectiveness of multiple marketing initiatives.
- Previous experience in building and maintaining databases; researching new event opportunities, and anticipating market trends is crucial.
- Knowledge of media planning, management of agency relationships and ability to work with third party organizations are also important.
- Proactive with sharing and developing new ideas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate creativity, strong cross-functional team management, leadership skills and taking initiative.
- Results-oriented, self starter who needs minimal supervision.
- Coordinates with key departments/project teams, team player.
- Hands-on management and execution of online campaigns.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA desired.
- 3 years of experience in lead generation and customer acquisition required.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required. Familiarity with web applications and online recruitment platforms preferred.
- Experience with online lead generation, web development.
- Experience managing budgets and internal/external design groups to develop market-wide promotional materials and beneficial marketing tools to assist with brand promotion.
- Solid understanding of strategic marketing and branding principles. Experience with Sales and Marketing promotions.
- Experience working closely with internal organizations (Sales, Clinical Education) to identify external customer requirements.
- Experience with medical device, pharmaceutical, or technology professional channels is a plus.
