KeyTrak, Inc. is a dynamic, growing company. We are the largest provider of key management systems in the country. Our system is a PC-based product used in many different businesses including auto dealerships, multi-family housing developments, government agencies, military bases, universities, hospitals, and more.
KeyTrak, Inc. was acquired by Reynolds and Reynolds in January 2000. They are headquartered in College Station and are the world's leading provider of electronic key management systems. Before being acquired by Reynolds and Reynolds, KeyTrak sold through distributors. Now there are two markets that are worked by an internal sales force. The two markets are multi-family/automotive and GEMS (Government, Education, and Medical). This sales position is for the multi-family/automotive market. This is franchise automobile dealerships and non-commercial residential housing (property management companies that own apartment complexes). You will spend 50% of your time selling to each side.
Your prospect base will include customers for additional sales, but you will mostly prospect potential customers in order to demonstrate products, present proposals and close deals. You will be responsible for developing your own leads. Some leads may already be available if you are placed in a previously established territory. The sales force utilizes a database called Pivotal.
Training: The outside sales position starts with a 2-week product training course in College Station. After training, you may shadow an existing sales representative or regional manager for a few days before working independently. You will communicate with your regional manager daily and will ride with him every 6-8 weeks or as needed.
