Manager to manage a team of inside channel sales reps and possibly lead generation. This position requires someone who is not just a manager but someone who is a player / coach. Some portion of the day will require customer and problem resolution, and channel conflict.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of Sales Management experience preferably high tech sales AND channel sales, o A passion for leading and driving results.
* The ability to engage your sales team, manage by the facts and have a firm grasp on how to report by numbers, statistics and trends.
* A proven track record of coaching and motivating your people to surpass their goals.
* Experience developing sales people and sales teams o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A lot of energy, motivation skills, coaching ability and excellent communication are all REQUIRED!
* Proven ability to manage and resolve customer conflict and come up with creative solutions to solve issues.
The day-to-day responsibilities for this Sales Manager will include managing the sales activities of the organization by overseeing the Account Executives the channel sales team. In addition, the Sales Manager will be accountable for interviewing, hiring, managing out, and providing interactive coaching daily.
The ideal Sales Manager will provide leadership and guidance to the reps, will attend weekly scheduled Sales Department meetings, measure progress and reinforce expectations and goals, handle customer issues, monitor individual rep activity and results, and participate in training.
