Requirements:
- Microsoft Certified SQL Database Administrator required.
- Five or more years experience as a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator with significant SQL Server 2000/2005 production experience, knowledge of SQL server 2008
- Strong Knowledge of high availability architecture including clustering , data replication to multisite , transaction log shipping ,database mirroring, hands on knowledge with MS SQL SERVER 2005/2008. Business Intelligence offering products Analysis Services, Reporting Services and Integration Services
- Create and maintain maintenance scripts for databases design and implementation, and participate in the disaster recovery process and database backups.
- Perform system optimization and improvement planning including but not limited to SQL Server database performance analysis, capacity planning, system sizing and ongoing maintenance/tuning ensuring maximum performance. Develop and implement security policies.
- Experience as a programmer in C#, .NET technologies is a definite plus.
- Five or more years as a Transact SQL programmer
- Hands-on support of large databases, including, but not limited to, monitoring, re-indexing, general database maintenance, extract-transformation-load, backup/recovery, documentation, and configuration.
- An understanding of transaction processing and data warehousing concepts.
- Automating, maintaining, and updating ongoing operational processes.
- Thorough knowledge of the Windows 2003 and 2008 server operating systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Java, J2EE, PHP and/or Perl is very useful.
- Exposure to Oracle and Sybase databases highly desirable.
- Well organized with the proven ability to work effectively within a team concept. Demonstrable skills in project organization. Successful project management experience on projects involving highly complex implementations.
- Knowledge of and experience with health care processes, project planning and management tools, information access tools, multiple PC products, interface engines, HL-7 and other interface standards, and process re-engineering methodology and tools.
