This is a dynamic expert level position in TMA/NETO (Technology Management & Architecture / Network Engineering & Technology Organization) that will provide hands-on leadership towards transformation of client to a premier service provider with leading edge network. The Member of Technical Staff level 3 (MTS III) is responsible for driving and delivering on strategic planning, design, and architecture of client (Layer 1, Layer 2, layer 3, and above) to enable Product & Service offering at different network and services layers.

• Test, qualify, and document technologies and equipment based solutions (with respect to the recommended architecture) to deliver technical specifications for new products and services in collaboration with other team members.

• The individual will be articulating & presenting the technical solution to various levels within the organization to get buy in.

• Will be responsible for taking a product from concept to operation both in terms of network technology and supporting systems maintaining quality, cost, and functionality objectives inclusive of leveraging the existing infrastructure.

• Complement deployment plans that include but not limited to defining product parameters, network architecture, vendor equipment, routing and switching policies and customer policies by analyzing product requirements versus equipment and human resource capabilities.

• Provide technical leadership for the Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3 and above technologies, which is also documented in a knowledge repository as technical specification documents, white papers, procedures, M&Ps, etc.

• Facilitate transfer of technical information to downstream departments; this may include playing active role in developing/ delivery of training.

• Resolve architecture issues and provide improved design methodologies; assist in maintenance and regression testing/ qualification.

• Stakeholder with other internal groups to design, develop and deploy new product offerings. The role will work closely with Product Development on possible new products/services and make written and verbal technical recommendations to the organization.

• Provide recommendations for new customer designs when necessary and support Sales and Marketing articulate Value Proposition of client solution to current/ potential customers.

• The individual must comply with departmental and corporate internal controls and all internal controls processes.

• The individual must possess and employ the highest ethical and business standards and always conduct himself/herself with the greatest degree of professional integrity.

• Miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities as may be requested or required by management. Vendor evaluation, RFI/RFP support, Lab testing of new technologies, and decision support methodologies experience a plus. Support, adapt, and learn in new and changing environments.
