Overview:
Our client is seeking for a VP of Engineering for their Santa Clara location.

Responsibilities:

The VP of Engineer will be leading our client's US IP Network R&D Department. The candidate must have great knowledge and experience in leading IP research; understand IP Product management, IP business management and IP industry management system, method, organization and process. Help improve current process, and carry out the innovations.
The candidate will be leading IP Network Performance Research, which focuses on research, and understand what are driving reasons and the keys of IP network performance, the IP network architecture, and how to improve our client's IP products to meet the increasing need of the current market.
The candidate must be able to provide high level business support, which includes keeping with customer, collecting customer requirements, and making proposal to improve IP product's competitiveness. Put forward IP products solutions and spreading IP products to the customers.
The candidate will be leading the IP Strategy Research, which focus on research on new IP service trend, new IP technique trends, new IP networking trends, make proposal on future research direction and drive new projects setting-up.

Qualifications:
The candidate must have 15+ years of experience in Computer networking and IP industry
* 8+ years of experience in leading large IP R&D projects in top IT/Telecom company and acting as one of the acknowledged leaders in computer networking and IP industry
* Either present or former VP of the IP Router product group, IP Hardware group/department, or IP software group/department in top IT/Telecom company
