The Ariba® Supplier Network™ (ASN) gives companies a comprehensive, shared eBusiness solution that automates and streamlines business processes, from trading partner discovery to transaction management to financial settlement The ASN Quality engineering team is looking for a talented, energetic software engineer with proven design and implementation skills in web based enterprise application software. This position is critical for the QA team and is located in Sunnyvale, California Duties and Responsibilities • Evangelize and work closely with cross-functional teams across the entire Ariba Supplier Network on the development of innovative testing solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability and reliability • The candidate for this position will be a key member of the QA team leading design and implementation of new automation and load/performance tools and test methodologies Preferred Qualifications • Excellent team player with strong communication skills. Must be a quick learner and creative problem solver • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills (Java or C++) • Good knowledge of XML, HTML-based web technologies, SQL, and relational databases • Experience with test automation (Silk, Selenium, JUnit) and load/performance (LoadRunner) tools and methodologies is a plus Basic Minimum Qualifications • B.S. in Computer Science • Five or more years of development experience on framework and architecture for released enterprise commercial application or Internet service • Experience with multi-thread, large scale internet applications Ariba, Inc. is an EEO/Affirmative Action employer and does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected category.
