Requirements:


 


The ideal candidate will possess the following specific knowledge/skills: At least 6 plus years of experience and at least 2 years as a Lead QA. Strong understanding of high performance networking systems, software development, and networking protocols. Experience in using various line cards and network traffic generators (IXIA, Agilent, Spirent). Experience in test automation. Experience testing IP Routing/RIP/OSPF/BGP/MPLS/QOS. Experience in system level testing, stress & performance testing. Must have experience in some scripting language like Perl or Python. Experience writing test plans, test suites and test procedures at the black box and system test levels. Must have Networking: IP layer 2/3 (switching/routing), firewall, WAN optimization VPN, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP. Strong experience with Networking protocols required (TCP/IP,SNMP,TR-069, TR-104, etc.) Experience developing, managing and automating unit and white-box test harnesses and test cases. Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution Bachelors degree required.


 


Project Description:


 


We are looking for QA test automation engineers with strong quality methodology skills and automation experience that can work independently in a fast-paced, technical environment. The individual will also perform the following responsibilities/expectations: Research, write and maintain test strategies and plans Write, automate and maintain and execute functional and performance test cases using APTest and other internal-based technologies/tools. Design, implement, execute and troubleshoot automated tests, and report on results. Provide clear and consistent communication with the team on status, risks and quality. Support the team with status/risks on the quality of the solution Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person Review product functional spec, develop white-box test plan, design test cases, and execute the tests (manual and auto). Perform functional level verification test and system level integration test. Need to track test goals/progress using scenario and code coverage metrics. Collect trace or other system debug data, provide test report and result analysis, replicate result, assist in root cause analysis.
