SendMe Inc, the fastest growing direct to consumer mobile start-up in the US, is looking for a senior visual design leader to play a key role in shaping the look, feel , UI and overall user experience for our ever expanding portfolio of online offerings.

We focus on savvy mobile users in the 13-28 year-old demographic; interest in music, pop culture, and what's new in design is a definite plus. We want to create clean, beautiful and above all usable products and services that just feel right.


Visual Designers will work closely with the product, engineering and marketing teams to develop graphic assets for our existing properties (SendMeMobile.com, SoLow.com, mbuzzy.com) and lead creative development for all our online efforts. You will play a key role in on-going site redesigns and new product launches, including spearheading the translation of wireframe and product requirements into living, breathing prototypes and ultimately new product launches.


Candidates should have solid experience with user-focused design principles and web design / development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We value interaction and feedback: designers should be constantly engaged and interested in ways to improve user happiness - we see design as a key component of the success of our brands.


Requirements:



  • 4+ Years of Online / Interactive Design Experience

  • Mastery of graphic software (Photoshop, Illustrator; Flash / Actionscript a plus)

  • Mastery of web and graphic design principles: Layout, Typography, Web Graphics

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and user-centric design

  • Strong portfolio containing multiple graphic & interaction design examples

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a large product development team

  • Link to your online portfolio / live examples of prior work

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree or Equivalent
