Job Description:

We are currently looking for a senior-level web application user interface developer to take the Responsys User Interface to the next level. The User Interface Developer will help develop the next generation presentation framework for the Responsys Interact Product suite. This individual will have the responsibility for adopting new Web technologies, re-designing existing Web applications and developing next generation rich internet applications (RIA).

Responsibilities:

    * Use JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML and other web services technologies to create a web 2.0 user experience.
    * Adopt and develop advanced UI frameworks
    * Maintain cross-application user experience consistency
    * Work within defined project schedule
    * Interact with design, backend and product teams on usability, features and performance
    * Collaborate with architects to develop and utilize state of the art technologies
    * Focus on usability, flexibility and robustness to market and customers expectations.

Requirements:

    * Solid HTML, DHTML and CSS skills as well as experience using J2EE web UI technologies such as: Java, JSPs, Tag Libraries, JSTL, the Spring Framework, etc.
    * Deep experience with JavaScript and Ajax and using modern JavaScript libraries, such as JQuery, Prototype/Scriptaculous, MooTool, etc.
    * 7+ years of professional related experience
    * Experience building web 2.0 user interfaces
    * 3+ years of Java MVC frameworks
    * Experience with SCRUM or similar agile methodology

Preferences:

    * Extra bonus points if you've got experience with XML UI frameworks such as XForms, XUL, XAML, and/or MXML.
    * Experience with Rich Internet Applications is a plus: Flex, Flash, Silverlight
    * Experience with J2EE, JBoss, SVN, Eclipse, Ant
